Escorted Minor

The Escorted Minor badge is free.
Persons under the age of 16 must get an Escorted Minor badge.
A person with an Escorted Minor badge must always be under the direct supervision of a parent.
The parent must purchase a full-price badge, and sign the parental consent form.

F.A.Q.

What benefits do I get by pre-registering? You save $10-20, and you'll have a shorter wait at the registration area with less paperwork to fill out.
You get to pick your badge art instead of getting a random badge.
Pre-registered attendees get priority on the swag items.
All of your paperwork will be pre-printed, including your badge -- Show your photo ID, sign your papers, and walk away in under 60 seconds!

I made a payment
but my account has not been credited? Payments may take 2-3 days to post; please be cautious of sending more payments until your account has been credited.
If you're still concerned, Contact staff.

Will there be single day registration? Single-day registration is available at the door only. It can be upgraded to full registration at any time for $15 more.

What kind of identification will I need? Any government-issued photo I.D. ( Driver's License, State I.D., or Passport )

Do you need any gophers or staff? Always! Please volunteer!

Are minors allowed? Yes, minors are allowed.

If you are 15 or younger on the day of the convention, you will need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian. If you are under 18 and over 16, you can attend by yourself with a signed, notarized parental consent form.

IMPORTANT: You need to bring the original signed and notarized form, not a copy. If you are attending without your parent, you must bring photo ID.

Refunds? Refunds are available until February 28th. After that date your membership can be transferred to the following year's event.

Upgrading my membership? You can upgrade during pre-reg by simply selecting a higher attendance and paying the difference.
You can also upgrade at the door and keep your early-bird pricing, but there's a higher chance you'll have to wait for swag items.

Downgrading my membership? Downgrading your membership is not supported; there are too many items that are pre-ordered that cannot be returned.

Forms of payment? PayPal, credit cards and snail-mailed money orders are supported.

What's this badge selection thing
in the registration system? We allow you to choose your favorite badge artwork. Pick "Random badge" to get a random badge.
Badges may be added as the con approaches; you can change your selection any time until the end of the pre-registration period.
You must pick your badge art before pre-registration ends.

How can I check to see if I'm registered? Simply log into the registration system, and look at your profile. If it says "You owe nothing," you're set!

What if I can't make it at the last minute? Don't worry. After the con, staff will contact everyone who didn't pick up their pre-reg, and offer to either move your payment to next year, or mail you the swag. You will still be included in the closing ceremonies drawing, if applicable.
